Adding the metal rods

The metal rods provide extra support to the window. This will allow the window to stand upright.

The rods are cut to size and foiled, not along the entire length, just every 4-5 inches or so. You can just see the rings of foil on the rod. Yes, you can, look closely.

The remaining copper foil along the length of the window is soldered and so is the copper foil around the metal rod.

Flip the window (no cheeky competitions this week!) and repeat on the other side.

When the artist does a snazzy signature (graffiti IMHO) there's a hint the artist is bored because the window is finished.

One blogger viewer emailed in and suggested that "She could sweep the floor of all the broken glass bits". Oh my! That is a good idea.

Next ... finished window pictures

Next week ... video of Vicki inspecting the window and asking "Are you sure that won't break??????"
